Employee engagement on alcohol & responsible drinking
- The commitment
Pernod Ricard’s commitment to responsible drinking starts with its employees. They should all be the ambassadors of this commitment, at work and beyond. We wanted to train all employees worldwide, and we also wanted to target commercial teams and brand ambassadors who are more exposed to the consumption of alcohol on the job.
As Pernod Ricard has a very strong commitment to protecting underage from drinking, we also wanted to help employees who are parents or carer on how to talk about alcohol to children with confidence and clarity.
As a results, 3 different tools have been put in place, with a sponsoring from the senior management.
Pernod Ricard has always been committed to responsible drinking, and in particular to the protection of young adults against the harm of excessive drinking. Educate young drivers to the risks of drinking and driving was a natural step from the Group
